Step by Step

Because He lives, I can Face Tomorrow, because He lives, all fear is gone.

Because I know........ He holds my future, my life is worth a living just because He lives.

This is one song we sing in church as a regular church anthem. I myself have not really paid close attention to the lyrics, but this same song took a whole new different meaning to me recently (Songs have really been ministering to me these days).

In my last post, I talked about taking a step of faith and I want you to know that taking a step of faith can be scary but it just takes a little courage. "Courage does not mean the absence of fear" - (Franklin D. Roosevelt) but being able to do what you got to do in the midst of that fear. So, when you take that step of faith to do whatever God is telling you to do, even if it is the first step to know Him, do not be overwhelmed with the feeling of fear and doubt you face but look up to Jesus and place you hope in Him.

Taking a step of faith can raise up a fear of the 'UNKNOWN': What is waiting for you out there? what are you going to face? You know what? stop stressing. The song says; Because I know 'HE HOLDS MY FUTURE'. So, the step of faith you take is worth it because He who holds your future holds the whole world in His hands so imagine what He can do with you. As large as the whole world is, (I mean, think about it, the whole world) God is not tired or burdened by the weight of the whole world from time past till now so how much your future. If He holds your future, trust that He is working things out for you and making the crooked paths straight (Isaiah 45:2)

You might not see it now or comprehend how, when, or what God is doing. This is simply because you are a part of the whole picture that God sees and He sees everything from where He is and He's just fixing the puzzle pieces where they fit. Our problem is that we struggle to get the puzzle pieces in place ourselves. When we cannot see the whole picture how can we know where things fit?

Let this mindset of; 'I've got to get this done by myself...... by this set time....... Look at others........ Why I'm I still here. Etc. What if you are where you are supposed to be and you don't sense it because of the distractions that are luring us from the right path that God is calling us to. We've got to get back on that path and trust He is working for us to bring us to an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

Do not limit that path to your experiences, situations you see around you......... This is not something you can understand, I mean it is me here, a part of a whole picture that I can not see, I don't know the right steps to take, and that is why we need to partner with God on this path. The HolySpirit is so close to direct us. God is not leaving us to do this on our own, that is why we have the HolySpirit and He keeps making impressions in our hearts to know the mind of the Father concerning the path to take.

Do not try to skip a step but take it Step by Step and trust God with all your heart. Trust is what will comfort you to keep going. Just know He holds your future in His hands and He is not tired of leading you to that great future He sees.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths".
