In the Midst of Fire

To be purified means to be first crushed and tried by fire. It will be a long process of being beaten down, tested, hurt, and burnt. These processes are what I've been going through and what I feared for these past months. And honestly, it left me feeling suffocated.

My faith is going through trials. Will I come out of it? Where is the light in all of these? Honestly, in the midst of all these trials, I'm gaining more clarity on where I'm meant to be with the father.

I thought it would bring about hate, but it made me see more into the heart of the Father for me. Sometimes I'll question, sometimes I'll cry, and other times, I'll be numb. Passing through all these various emotions, a stillness comes, and I am made more aware of Abba in the midst of the fire; in my extreme moments, I see Him more.

Why is He good to me like this? People, I honestly cannot bring myself to explain everything I'm going through right now, but I have faith in Abba that all is well.

So what am I saying, guys? Trust in Abba with all your heart and not in your circumstances or your understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Abba is so good, and I say this in all honesty. You may be thinking, how can we say God is good in the midst of troubles? Well, that is how mind-blowing God is, and He to can be your God.

Honestly, you do not always have to understand God. He may never arrive early, but He never comes too late. He comes right on time to swoop you from your troubles.

Even if trials and troubles come, I am sure I can stand with confidence and say I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. Now in the midst of my troubles, I'm waiting on Him. I'll shake, but then I'll remember I have stability on the rock. I'll fall but then remember His angels are watching over me, so I'm secured even when I stumble. I linger around the valley of death, and while there, I know He is with me.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4(KJV)

Abba, thank you for grace because even in the midst of the fire, I see you. That is why I can dance in flames and know I'll be fine because I know that I am coming out of the fire pure. I'll be purified in this fire, and even if I get burnt, it's because I am to produce the fragrance of Your Presence.
